Forensics

Forensics is actually three specializations under a single classified specialization umbrella. To get the specialization certification, one must pass all specializations (the number of levels for each are classified).

Certification: Forensics Specialist (if one has completed all parts)

Combat Forensics

Rank: Chunin
Status: Optional
Skill: None
Other: None

Certification: Combat Forensics Specialist (if only have completed this part)
Description: Battlefield reconstruction specialists. Combat Forensics can take a battlefield area and, using physical and chakra residue clues, determine what happened where, and from that and other information (such as report from ninja that participated) it can build a timeline of what occurred there.

Even in the absence of the knowledge to recreate a battle, combat forensics allows a person to determine information about who fought there, including likely types of jutsu (possibly even which jutsu), sougujtsu or other weapon use, and general direction of where they went.

Criminal Forensics

Rank: Chunin
Status: Optional
Skill: None
Other: None

Certification: Criminal Forensics Specialist (if only have completed this part)
Description: Crime Scene reconstruction specialists.

Medical Forensics

Rank: Chunin
Status: Optional
Skill: Medic Ninja Basic Level
Other: Ability to use medical chakra preferred.

Description: Medical forensics revolves around finding out information from the deceased. Largely used to determine cause and time of death, it is also used to gather other information to assist other forensics work.

Training in this includes much of the Medic Ninja Intermediate and Advanced medical knowledge, but only medical jutsu used for diagnostics. Autopsy procedure and methods are a core part of this specialization. It also includes how to identify the work of medical jutsu and approximate time since it was performed.
