The Bunshin no Jutsu, or Clone Technique, is an extremely low level jutsu taught to Academy students. Using a small amount of chakra, a ninja forms a number of extremely thin chakra shells in their form and appearance. This shell is extremely thin, not even think enough to block light passing through it, and easily broken through contact, which means the shells hover just slightly off the ground. If performed properly, the shell is a perfect replication of the user.

The extremely weak result and numerous weaknesses that reveal a Bunshin from the user result in it not being much use outside of the Academy or against bandits. Users that take the time to understand how the technique works or skilled Genjutsu users can mask the obvious weakpoints regarding lack of shadow or effecting the ground passed over, rendering the technique far more useful and dangerous.
